The Brief
Research indicated big changes were taking place. Charley’s demographics were becoming more urban and younger at an accelerated pace. Data also revealed that locations inside malls were performing best. To take advantage, we needed to create a campaign that repositioned Charley’s to better connect with this evolving audience.

The Delicious World of ‘Flip’
We collaborated with Charley’s to develop a series of social media videos that brought the world of Flip, a quirky and precarious spatula, to life in a youthful and street-art-inspired manner that was, dare we say, delicious. By using a mix of illustration, animation, and programmed robotic camera movements, the campaign told the story of the food on Flip’s terms.
Social Media Splash
The social campaign was geo-targeted to malls nationwide that had Charley’s, capturing their target demographic at the moment of hunger.
