CCAD is in a fierce competition for students. Today, that competition is played out across digital platforms. Which makes this campaign about more than simply telling student stories. It’s about where and how those stories are told. And in this case, even how they are collected.

Building the Campaign
We created a unique phone booth with a rotary phone that, when picked up, asked students one of 18 pre-recorded questions about life at CCAD. The responses were recorded as voicemails. Over two days, we gathered 168 stories, each reflecting the students’ distinct perspectives.
Bringing Voicemails to Life
The voicemails were then transformed into animated and motion videos, each with a personalized style as if crafted by the students themselves. This project not only set the college apart from its peers but also expanded into branding, environmental design, web design, and animation, creating storytelling as creative as CCAD’s students.
